As we study ways to apply God's Word to everyday life - the girls offer a genuine desire to become young ladies that honor God with their decisions and actions. We've decided to base our study on Philippians 4:8 because chapter 4 begins with Paul's plea to two women who serve God faithfully, but are apparently not getting along...so within Paul's call for them to iron out their differences, he provides godly guidance for our thoughts, attitudes and relationships. Philippians 4 in the "The Message" sums up our goals for our girls..."Celebrate God all day, every day...fill your minds and meditate on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious- the best, not the worst, the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learn...God who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies!"
